Patriot Machine, Inc. was selected as the 1999 Subcontractor of the Year by the Small Business Administration for Region VII. Region VII is inclusive of the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, all of which are sure to provide worthy opponents for such an award. Patriot Machine, Inc. was nominated by The Boeing Company, which is viewed by the SBA as a large prime contractor for providing the Government and Industry with outstanding goods and services.
Nominations for the award began earlier in the year with the submittal of candidates by other prime contractors. To be nominated for the award, a company must excel in multiple areas such as the following:

The SBA chooses a regional Small Business Contractor of the Year within each of its ten regions. Independent judges in Washington, D.C. determine the winners after much deliberation. After the final election of the winners, every nominee, regional winner and national winner is honored at the awards ceremony during the Spring Conference.

Having worked hard to meet our own personal standards and goals, it is good to see that they have paid off in such a manner.
