Patriot Machine, Inc.'s modeling services include basic 2D and 3D shapes to complex freeform
solids, unconstrained models to fully constrained parametric models, single parts to part
family models, stand-alone parts to full interrelated assemblies. We can also assist
in part design and development as well as drafting using ANSI Y14.5M-1982 practices or ISO
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.

- 2D and 3D Product / Part Design
- 2D product / part design enables quick concept of flow
diagrams, complexity of fabrication and design procedures and process planning
requirements. 3D product and part design leads to solid modeling and full
manufacturing methodology.

- Solid modeling of product design enables commonality among
functions including CMM inspections, N/C programming, infinite analysis and specific
part information. A completed solid model represents full part integrity and
validity to function as a master model downstream.

- Complex Surface & Freeform Modeling
- Complex surface and freeform modeling enables Patriot
Machine, Inc. to duplicate parabolic shapes common to the medical industry as well as
contoured aircraft surfaces. Surfaces may be created from wire frame models,
digital data and CMM generated geometry.

- The use of assemblies and components enables customers to
restrain part functions and relationships to precise specifications. Within
assemblies and components, the Assemblies Navigation Tool allows the customer to review
several options for pro con scenarios and best fit assemblies.

- Parametric Modeling
- Parametric modeling is used to create families of parts
through the basic mathematical equations related to similar engineering parts. As
well, parametric modeling can be applied to a stand alone part. It allows for
quick response to engineering changes to update manufacturing processes to expedite turn
around.
